A place you love to go for inspiration in Paris
..the best inspiration i have here , is to do roller blading with my music on my headphone (and you should have good one like the sony 7506) .. and i go with my dog : Waska , is a Husky from Siberia , we do in between 8 and 20 km crossing Paris .. i love this feeling of freedom , in a middle of the town .. passing by the big monument , descending the Champs élysées , all along the river seine ..
(watch Mika's adventure through Paris here)
Nature spot you connect with in Paris
everywhere I am , even in a city like Paris , if i can see the sky somewhere , if i can feel the wind , the rain , feel the sun, so i feel mother nature .. the funny thing , with friends we used to go in the catacombs , not those for tourist , but the labyrinth under Paris .. kilometers of gallery .. feeling like in a story from Jules Verne !
Cafe / restaurant you love to go to
i love to go to SOL SEMILLA , along the canal st Martin .. they cook super-food
i like also this coffee shop Pigalle ..
i like the Café Pinson in the Marais (3e) ...
Where do you like to go listen to or make music in Paris
the "silencio " .. i really love this club cause you can see a movie before, or listening a conference about "Mathematics and dreams" and dance after that or be at a concert live .. and mostly of the time i do my own music in our studio "louxor station" (north of Paris ) in St Ouen .. i love playing music with my friends ..
Space you go to feel most grounded or relaxed in Paris
i have a friend , she got a garden near the cemetery of Pere Lachaise , this garden seems to be wild , there is a canadian wood house in there .. we can seat on the ground or climb a tree and make a fire , make tea on this fire .. i feel home there .. i know i'm more than lucky to have access to this in Paris ...
Where do you love to practice yoga / meditation in Paris
i like to go the park "les buttes chaumont" but i love also to stay at république (place de la république), to seat in the middle of the crowd .. seating in the eye of the cyclone ..
the studios i go are "Rasa" , "Yoga Village" , "le tigre" but the reason is also because i'm teaching there ..
A hidden secret gem in Paris to share
a secret is a secret , walk with me and you'll see what i see ..
i think the secret is on the way you see things ..
you can tell me your secret , i will keep it as a secret ..
What do you love about living in Paris
Paris offer me the world , i connect with all the world from here ..
Paris gave me the yoga and a connection to the shamanism ...
Paris is my ground control ..
Paris give me love , friends with who i can share ..
I love Paris and i think that Paris love me too ..
I love this town , because it is small and you can walk almost everywhere .. Paris is (as all capitals in the world ) a central nervous system of all the country .. from one street to another you can jump from a world to another ..
How does your yoga practice inspire your life in Paris
...my best yoga practice in town is to share it with all ..
feeling that we are part of the humanity ..
