Sunday Suppers has come out with a beautifully designed line of essential ingredients for the kitchen and home, which I wanted to share with you today. Sunday Suppers is a Brooklyn based food and design community that hosts dinner series, events, workshops and photo shoots in their beautiful industrial studio. Karen Mordechai, the foodie behind the brand, recently released a kickstarter campaign for ILA, a home and kitchen line. ILA's debut collection consists of olive oil, specialty spices and salts, wildflower honey and maple syrup. Each product is unique and has a story, and has been carefully sourced from farms, purveyors and artisans from around the globe with careful consideration for how it is grown and harvested. Take a look at the full collection over at the kickstarter campaign and treat yourself to some goodness. I'm eyeing the hand harvested Sel de Guerande, which has subtle scents of violets and I am loving the sounds of the dark, rich Mexican Vanilla Extract with it's sweet deep flavour notes, plus the little black Olive Oil container is a gem, filled with fresh pressed Olive Oil from Cordoba, Spain. To learn more about each product, check out Sunday Suppers instagram to find write ups.
