DAY 28 SUMMER OF MEDITATION
Meditation for a Calm Heart. This meditation brings a calmness over the entire body, especially the heart center. It circulates and radiates prana from the heart and brings clear perception to your relationship with yourself and others, encouraging you to always act with a full heart.
To begin place the left hand over the center of the chest with the palm flat. Make Gyan Mudra with your right hand (first finger and thumb touching) extending the other fingers straight up and have your right arm by your side.
Begin to focus in on the breath. Take a nice slow inhale and then suspend your breath as long as comfortable. Exhale smoothly and once all the breath is out then hold the breath out as long as possible. Continue this pattern of breath for up to 31 minutes.
