RECEIVE

Allow yourself to let go in order to receive. A gentle reminder for us all as we move into Fall and Winter. In order for us to be physically and spiritually inspired we must work at creating space in our bodies, clearing out the stale air. The Fall season is associated with the lungs + large intestine and by nourishing these organs we can allow new space to emerge and prana to circulate. This month focus on the following sequence of postures that target the lung + large intestine meridian lines. Allow yourself to open up to reverence and become truly present in the experience you are having in that moment. If emotions arise, allow any grief or sadness to fall away and bring in space for the new. Open up, be nourished and receive.

Begin the sequence by gently warming up the body with a series of slow sun salutations or cat/cows and then move through the postures below, staying in each asana for 1-5 minutes.
