Essentialism. The idea that less is more. Embracing essentialism in our yoga practice allows us to go inwards, to filter through the noise and find out what is essential for us in the moment. Clarity is found. Intentions are amplified. The body mind connect.
What is essential in each pose? Breath, alignment, drishti. Be here now. Find your inner teacher, your greatest teacher. Embrace sthira and sukham, steadiness and ease, as you flow through your practice, being mindful of what's fundamental and pure in each asana.
Open yourself up to space, to freedom, to acceptance. Be compassionate for wherever you are in each asana. You are where you are meant to be. Let your daily practice bring you towards living and being your highest self.
Have gratitude. 'It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up' (Eckhart Tolle).
